Jefferson National Wins IMA “Outstanding Achievement Award”New Website by DMA 2010 “Financial Services Company of the Year” Surpasses Industry Average Across all Criteria
New York, NY and Louisville, KY—December 8, 2011—Jefferson National, innovator of the industry’s first flat-insurance fee variable annuity1 and winner of the DMA 2010 Financial Services Company of the Year2 award, continues building on an unprecedented winning streak with a 2011 “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA) for a newly redesigned website, including expanded resources, new educational content and greater functionality.
Jefferson National won the IMA’s “Outstanding Achievement Award” with an overall score of 477 out of a possible 500, surpassing the industry average and earning top scores for Content (98), Feature Functionality (98), Standards Compliance and Cross-Browser Compatibility (95), Design (94) and Usability (92). According to the IMA judges, Jefferson National’s website “has excelled in all areas of our judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism.”
The Interactive Media Awards is an international competition to recognize excellence in Website Design and Development, and according to officials “Judges are always on the hunt for jaw-dropping perfection.” Thousands of entries from around the world were submitted in 25 categories. More than 200 entries were submitted in the “Financial Services” category, and ten winners were selected for the “Outstanding Achievement Award,” including Jefferson National, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, ING Bank, and Schwab MoneyWise.
