Quinn as Chief Investment & Research Officer. The newly-created executive position is dedicated to developing proprietary research and investment tools that will help RIAs and fee-based advisors to optimize portfolio management and tax-advantaged investing by providing unique strategies, practical guidelines and actionable advice. Jefferson National is also launching Quinn’s Investing Insights whitepaper series, starting with “A Strategic Approach to Managing Taxes,” which offers strategies that can be implemented now at year-end, as well as throughout the new year.

As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with more than a decade of experience as a Portfolio Manager, Quinn brings valuable experience developing proprietary quantitative models for analyzing and managing a range of investing needs. Quinn’s expertise encompasses a vast breadth of products including Investment-Only Variable Annuities (IOVAs), exchange-traded funds, mutual funds and fixed income, as well as a specialized proficiency in alternative investments. His skill set and the research that he will produce will advance Jefferson National's mission to educate advisors and provide them with cost effective, innovative solutions to meet their clients’ most urgent investing needs.

Quinn has 15 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Jefferson National, Quinn has served in a variety of leadership roles that leverage his expertise in portfolio management and alternative investments. Quinn was Chief Investment Officer of a boutique consulting firm serving investment advisors, trust companies and family offices, where he was the lead portfolio manager for RIA clients, overseeing all asset allocation, manager selection and construction of liquid alternative portfolios. Quinn also served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Risk Officer at a family office where he developed proprietary quantitative models to analyze and manage the firm's equity and hedge fund portfolios. Quinn began his career as a quantitative analyst and high-net-worth Portfolio Manager at the Glenmede Trust Company, where he also developed quantitative models for investment selection, asset allocation and risk management. Quinn is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Ursinus College and his M.A. in Economics from Temple University.
