Life & Health Advisor: Bridging the Robo Divide

Jefferson National President Larry Greenberg shares his insight with Life & Health Advisor about “Bridging the Robo Divide.” As Greenberg notes, “Today advisors are tech-obsessed, in search of new solutions to provide their clients with more sophisticated services and to make their practice more efficient and scalable. Robo-advisors are one of the latest solutions to emerge… But are they a benefit? Or are they a threat? Research shows that the jury is still out.”

Greenberg and a panel of industry experts took a deep dive into this new wave of technology to give advisors a high-level understanding, practical guidelines and actionable advice. While the panelists agreed that there are many benefits of adopting technology, it was also agreed that there is still no substitute for the guided and holistic financial planning that an advisor can offer their clients. Ultimately, it was decided that technology is not about replacing advice—it’s about enhancing advice.
