Customer Service Associate

Jefferson National is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to serve as a member of the Jefferson National Monument Advisor service team.  The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for providing customer support for JNF’s groundbreaking flat-fee investment-only variable annuity.  This individual will interact with external and internal customers on a daily basis, and must be able to provide professional, top-quality customer service via phone, email and general correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for external communications for both clients and potential customers as well as internal communications in both an inbound and outbound capacity
  • Provide customers with information addressing inquiries regarding products and services
  • Effectively respond and efficiently communicate to incoming emails and voicemail messages
  • Assist in processing non-financial transactions such as beneficiary changes, return mail, and various other requests
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Minimum of three years of experience in customer service
  • Financial services or life insurance experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data entry and keystroke skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team construct and as an individual contributor
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment
